Mark Bryan

Mark Bryan is a founding member, songwriter and the guitar player for multi-platinum, Grammy award winning Hootie & the Blowfish. While Hootie is on hiatus, Bryan constantly writes, records and produces music the product which has become CTMG.

 

You can also catch Bryan plaing with his three-piece band, The Occasional Milkshake, featuring Hootie percussionist, Gary Greene, and The Blue Dogs’ bassist, Hank Futch.  But whether his music is heard live or recorded, Mark just wants his songs to be heard and well received by his fans, both old and newly acquired. "I would just like for the songs to touch people the way my favorite stuff touches me."

 

Bryan also just began teaching at the College of Charleston for the Arts Management department.  He spent the past fall and spring semesters teaching a introduction to music management class covering all the basics of the music industry including booking, publishing, and production.  

 

In addition, Mark Bryan has produced the following: Patrick Davis, Danielle Howle, The Blue Dogs, Amber Caparas, John Wesley Satterfield, Five Way Friday, Doug Jones, and Cowboy Mouth.
